Moving from Haiti to the United States, my first encounter with the tax system was confusing and stressful. I did not understand how it worked, and my first time filing left me unsure of what was actually happening.

I walked out not knowing whether I had a refund or a balance due, and later discovered issues with how my return had been handled.

That experience shaped the way I approach taxes today. It also sparked curiosity.

While studying Accounting and taking my first tax course, I began to see the system with clarity for the first time. What once felt complex became something I was determined to understand deeply. I started preparing tax returns independently and later gained hands-on experience working at a local tax office.

As my knowledge grew, so did my commitment to precision, ethics, and accountability. I earned my Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, which allows me to represent taxpayers before the IRS with authority, integrity, and technical expertise.

Guided by faith, I founded ZW Tax Service to bring clarity to a process that often creates stress and uncertainty. Today, my mission is to help individuals and families move through their tax journey with confidence and peace of mind.
